The Precipice Trail climb.

On Saturday, we all climbed the Precipice Trail. Bob said that he had done it before, and it would be an easy climb. That was probably fifteen years ago . . . .

At the trail base, Joe and Peter listen to Bob explain how the trail will be easy. Joe is incredulous, while Peter knows its a joke.

"Mountain Goat" Joe lightly sprints up the mountain.

Jose, Joanne, and Stuart walk over a bridge on one of the less strenuous parts of the trail. Jose looks over the rail and thinks "It sure looks like a long way down there . . . "

Sometimes even mountain goats need to hang on to the hand rails!

As usual, Peter is way ahead of everybody else.

Joanne, Jose, Stuart, and Dan look at the car in the parking lot 1000 ft below. Dan says, "It does indeed look to me as if he is trying to break into your car! Do you think we should run down there and stop him?".

"Mountain Goat" Joe pauses to take a drink from his flask, while above him Stuart shouts "Get moving, you slug!"

Clambering over the rocks above the tree-line, Peter and Dan are dwarfed by the size of the mountain.

Stuart looks smug as he approaches the mountain's summint.

After much huffing and puffing, everybody gathers on top of the mountain for the celebatory photograph. After all, we had climbed well over 1000 ft almost straight upwards . . . .
