At 159th St, the bus turns onto Broadway. Here, we look far to the south, but the view of Midtown is blocked by the gentle hills of Hamilton Heights.

This section of Broadway is very Hispanic -- and mostly Dominican. Most of the stores cater to the Dominican population, and some sell exotic goods which lend a Carribian flavor to the neighborhood. A typical street scene on Upper Broadway.

At 155th Street we pass by Audubon Terrace, the home of the Hispanic Society of America, the National Numismatic Society, The American Academy of Arts and Letters and Boricua College. Here's another photo of the complex of buildings at Audubon Terrace.
