Craig wanted to know what time it was. It looks like it's around 1pm.

Here's another shot of the Barking Crab with some tourist horse-drawn carriages heading down the street in front of it. Back in the front of the building, the construction workers were preparing to pour concrete deep into one of the pits. This machine is the concrete pump.

Another shot of the old elevated expressway. And another photo of the old expressway, this time showing some of the iron bracework put into place. What is this bracework for? Ron thinks: "It's probably the underpinnings for a section of elevated roadway that has already been removed. But I don't know that for sure. A good bit of the elevated in this area was fairly new temporary roadbed, cantilevered over part of Atlantic Avenue. I think this was necessary in order to finish the tunnel section below."
